Your mission
FMI are Ireland’s largest independent field marketing agency. We work with market leading FMCG brands across several retail channels including Dunnes, Tesco, SuperValu and the convenience sector as well. 

The ideal candidate must be available to work 5 days a week, across Monday to Friday(some Saturdays should staff issues arise) and must have own transport

Work with your local retailers, Dunnes Stores, Tesco, SuperValu and many more.
Your profile
Must have own transport with mileage reimbursed. Must live in Cork and be able to travel to Limerick as and when required.

Responsibilities:

Performance Management:
  • Effectively lead, organize, and communicate with a team of merchandisers to ensure the achievement of overall client objectives.
  • Provide guidance, support, and constructive feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
Coverage and Targets:
  • Achieve specified coverage within a set call file by managing the weekly roster and leave arrangements.
  • Set and monitor targets and standards, ensuring the team meets or exceeds performance expectations.
Merchandising/Auditing Activities:
  • Oversee and ensure the completion of all merchandising, auditing, and in-store sampling activities in allocated stores.
  • Maintain adherence to company standards and client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Communication and Strategy:
  • Foster effective communication with Brand Representatives in the area to develop sales and team strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align merchandising activities with overall business goals.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in team management within the merchandising industry.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, set targets, and drive performance improvements.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in merchandising and auditing.
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Team performance against set targets.
  • Compliance with company standards and client KPIs.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with Brand Representatives.
  • Timely completion of merchandising activities within allocated stores.
